We will meet in the MPR before school on MONDAY mornings at 7:30am. Our Next performance will be Monday, December 11. Mark those calendars!

Performances

Teacher/moderator assigns solos, dances and acting parts to each member of the choir. Approximately 95 students rehearse during recess and before school on Monday mornings to prepare for school and community performances In 2005-2006 they prepared a spring program of choral music and presented by DISNEY, a fully-costumed and staged medley of Disney's movie favorite

Commitments

This is a performance group. In order for us to maintain our reputation with beautiful vocal sounds and clean riser choreography, members must be willing to commit to the following:

Regular attendance at all rehearsals

Students not able to maintain the rehearsal requirement may be dropped after two unexcused absences.

Chorusrehearsals do not conflict with band, orchestra or intramural sports.

An excused absence is an absence from school the day of the rehearsal.

Attendance at our scheduled performances.

Respectful, cooperative participation during choir rehearsals.

A flexible singing range and/or a willingness to work with Ms. Clark to match pitch.

Cooperative participation and positive leadership in music class.
