2009-2010 PTA Reflections Programs

2009-2010 Theme, “Beauty is…”

Do you like to draw, dance, play an instrument or take photographs in your spare time? It’s time to express your creativity at Marion Jordan. The PTA Reflections Program is a perfect place to showcase your talent.

The Reflections Program gives students the opportunity to encourage and display their talents while reinforcing the importance of arts in education. Start encouraging the students to brainstorm ideas to support this years’ theme “Beauty is…” With such a great, wide open theme the ideas can be expresses limitlessly throughout the categories. Students in Kindergarten through Grade 6 at Marion Jordan can submit entries in the following categories:

• Film/video production
• Dance choreography
• Musical composition
• Photography
• Visual arts
• Literature

Students are not limited to one entry or one category. Deadlines for entries will be Friday, November 13, 2009. Watch for more information at school and through the newsletter. In the meantime, start snapping shots, composing music, or drawing what you think expresses “Beauty is” to you.

All Entry Forms and Rules and Regulations can be emailed or sent to a students’ classroom upon request or picked up in the front office.
