Ways and Means

We are pleased to announce that Back to School means more than free time for moms, it also means new and exciting ways to fund programs at MJ. As you know, fundraising efforts are meant to do more than cover the PTA budget. Our intent is to enhance programs being held in house at MJ. That includes mini-courses, 6th grade programs, new playground equipment and now in-house field trips! The list can go on and on so please consider participating in the following opportunities.

There are many programs that we use to fundraise for our school. Some of these programs are described below. However, an easy, quick way to support our PTA is a Direct Donation.

As you know, fundraising efforts are required to be more creative to keep busy parents interested in buying more of what we need, not what we don’t need.   With that in mind, we hope you find our efforts for this year helpful and in turn valuable to your child’s education.

Manna is HERE!........

What is Manna?
Manna is a program where parents, teachers and staff can purchase gift cards through their school. Read more on this new fundraiser! You can complete the order form at www.mannagroup.net.

Target – Take Charge of Education (TCOE).  Each time a parent uses their Target Visa or Target Card at Target, they make a donation to our school in the amount of 1% of their purchase.  Target will also donate ½% of your purchase to our school when you shop outside of Target and you use your Target Visa.  To apply please visit your nearest Target or apply online by going to www.target.com/tcoe and click on Financial Services link.
